Ged Morley is walking up mount Snowdon three times via three different routes on April 25th 2018 in a bid to raise £1,500 for strips and training equipment for NEM Hawks Handball Club.

The club is focused on developing players from as young as 12m bringing these players through to the Under 19 teams and potentially into the senior teams.

Many of the players also represent Great Britain and England of which the club is very proud.

This club is run by 2 fantastic coaches who not only give up their time but put their hearts and soul into the training and development of all the players.

Like any club NEM Hawks need to raise funds so they can continue to grow as a club.

Everyone who is involved with the NEM Hawks are committed and passionate in ensuring the club is able to continue to operate.

Welcome to the website of the North East Manchester Hawks Handball Club.

Handball is the second largest participation sport in Europe, and following the London 2012 Olympics, is becoming the fastest growing sport in the UK.

As the name suggests, we are based in North East Manchester, but our players come from Manchester, Salford, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton and further afield.

We are affiliated to the England Handball Association (EHA) – our teams play in a variety of EHA leagues, and several of our members feature in various GB, England and County squads. Not only do we train and play as a Club, but we actively encourage the development of Handball in local schools and colleges.
